Piedmont Shooting Club, owner of 22 acres comprising trap fields 4, 5, and 6, has donated their assets to RCGC in order to dissolve the corporation.  The assets include that parcel of land shown below, three trap machines, and $33,661 cash.

Piedmont Shooting Club was formed in the 1950s and operated skeet and trap fields in Guilford County.  In April 1972, the City of Greensboro condemned their property in order to redevelop it as Bryan Park.  Piedmont Shooting Club spent several years looking for a new site in Guilford County but was unable to find a new location.  In 2000, Piedmont Shooting Club purchased the 22 acres adjacent to RCGC in order to expand RCGC's trap facility.
